Rocky Mountain Interlude

This field of rocks looks pretty plain, but it is filled with clumps of tiny alpine flowers between all the rocks.

I’ve been thinking a lot about some new concepts and ideas. I get bits and pieces here and there,

Alpine flowers sprout between all the rocks here.

and try to find the construct in which they all fit just right. Of course, I only do this when I’m not so busy there is no time for reflection. The best place to think, though, is outside. Sometimes, I like to think with my feet! Surrounded by the beauty of the Rocky Mountains, my husband, youngest daughter, and I visited Rocky Mountain National Park this year. We’re rarely tourists in our own state – but this year we’ve pledged to see more. Here’s a sample. 1. Your pictures are so vibrant and alive. I love the Rockies. They are majestic and I feel humbled when I am in their presence. Sounds like a great interlude.

    1. Yes, it is restful and allows me to regroup. I’d love to see a post on the beautiful places YOU go for this. Knowing where you live, my guess is you don’t even have to drive there, like I do!
