Would you spend your last cent to be reunited with your lost dog? The workers at the DeKalb County Animal Services in Chamblee, Georgia had a man who did just that. The compassionate workers paid to get the owner and the dog together and waived all fees. Watch the related video to see a VERY excited dog, happy to be sprung from the pound by her human companion.

Love like that can turn a life around, and a homeless person needs love like that. I’m so happy the puns supported them both by reuniting them.

Hi KDKH – what a delightful story and so kind that all the fees were waived – kudos to the man that in times of dire straits his beloved dog comes first … so glad he found her. Cheers Hilary

Me too. The bond was honored by the pound more than the need to punish. I really appreciated that.

Aw, what a touching story! Animals and “their people” have a bond that goes beyond comprehension sometimes.

Animals aren’t so worn down by the world that they can’t show happiness and excitement, either!
